“10-DAY DAWN” PROGRAMME &

FAREWEL OF MAULANA ASLAM

The “10-Day Dawn” celebration to mark the 31^st Anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran a programme was held in Pune on Monday, 1^st February 2010 in the Iranian Imambada which was attended by Mr. Ali Mohammadi, Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mumbai and Dr. Najafi, Cultural Consular of the Islamic Republic of Iran in New Delhi. Some of the Iranian students, residents and Ulemas of Pune city participated in the said programme.

In recognition of his commendable services rendered as Pesh Namaz during the last 13-years the appreciation letters were presented to Maulana Seyed Aslam Rizvi by Mr. Mohammadi, the Consul General and Dr. Najafi, the Cultural Consular.

It was decided by the Trustees of the Iranian Imambada in Pune to appoint Maulana Seyed Kumail Zaidi as the successor to Maulana Aslam Rizvi.
