TERRORIST ATTACK IN PUNE

          Following the terrorist attack on German Bakery in Pune on Saturday night, 13th February 2010 which resulted in 9 death and 13 injured and as we received the news that some Iranian possibly may be among the injured in this attack, the Second Consul of the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mumbai visited Pune and checked various hospitals in the city to take stock of the situation and meet any possible Iranian. He found out that following named Iranian nationals have also been injured in the attack:

01. BORNA KAENANIYAN

02. ALIREZA RIZVI

03. FARAMARZ ZULNURI

04. SALVASH AGHDAEI

05. MAHMOOD RAHMANI

Unfortunately one Iranian student who was studying in Symbiosis University in Pune namely: SAEID ABDOLKHANI has been killed in this ugly and dastardly attack. The mortal remains will be sent to Iran as soon as possible for cremation.

The Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mumbai extends its heartfelt condolences to the family members of the deceased and wish speedy recovery for the injured persons.
