The Consulate General of the I.R of Iran intends to open an office in Mumbai.
The goal of this office is to promote tourism and to attract investmentsin Iran.
Therefore ConsulateGeneral of the I.R of Iran in Mumbai is looking for a civil employee who will work under the supervision of Iran Consulate in Mumbai in that office.
This position is available in keeping with plans to upgrade tourism in Iran, as well as the marketing and investmentpromotion in Iran which includes helping local and foreign investors participate in joint venture or establish their own projects and become operational in various industries in FTZs in Iran as well as in gas and oilsection.
The key duties of this person will be to manage attraction of investment and tourism promotion in Iran, which includes strategic planning, engaging in marketing and promotion efforts to reach targeted investors, facilitating investors’ exploration, performing aftercare services, liaising with different departments in Iran and India
The job may require domestic or international travel.
Qualifications and Job Requirements include:
-A B.A Degree in Business Administration,Public Administration, Economics Marketing, Tourism, Finance/Banking, or any equivalent combination of education,
-Fluency in English and if possible in Hindi, Urdu as well as Persian.
-Having at least 10 years of working experience ideally in the Private Sector and havingthe required knowledge and skills.
-Having Knowledge about Islam and Islamic tradition as well as Middle East, West Asia and the Persian Gulf.
-Being dynamic, smart, people friendly, persistent and self-motivated, strong interpersonaland having communication skills and computer knowledge.
