CELEBRATION OF “10-DAY OF DAWN” & SEMINAR ON “THE IMPACT OF THE ISLAMIC REVOLUTIO OF IRAN ON THE UNITY OF THE MUSLIMS”
On Monday, 8th February 2010 a function of “Ten Days Dawn” on the occasion of the 31st Anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of Iran was organized jointly by the Consulate General and the Culture House of the Islamic and Kumbharwada Welfare Centre at Islam Gymkhana, Mumbai which was attended by Honourable Mr. Chhagan Bhujbal, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra as Chief Guest.
Mr. Nasir Pathan, President, Kumbharwada Welfare Centre honoured the dignitaries on the dais with flower bouquets, shawls and mementos. H. E. Mr. Mohammadi also presented an artistic frame to Honourable Mr. Bhujbal.
Mr. M. R. Mirzaei, Director, Culture House delivered a welcome speech and congratulated the guests on the occasion of the 31st Anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of Iran.
His Excellency Mr. Ali Mohammad, Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mumbai in his speech elaborated Iran’s stand on various international topics.
Honourable Mr. Chhagan Bhujbal, Deputy Chief Minister in his speech elaborated on the usage of Persian language in India and on bilateral and trade relations between India and Iran.
Mr. Mahesh Bhatt, famous film maker, Mr. Hassan Kamal, Editor, Sahafat Urdu Daily newspaper and Mr. Basharat Shikoh renowned writer also spoke on the occasion and shared their views on the impact of the Islamic Revolution on the unity of Muslims and humanity.
